Tucson Review

This vehicle is a good starter vehicle. My main complaint was the safety monitors and sometimes the computer became convinced that I was going to have a head on collision. Sometimes it just would not go when I pressed the gas.

Overpriced for the quality

I like the size of the car, and the features. What I'm not a fan of is the hollow can sound when shutting the back doors. It's very cheap sounding. I'm also not a fan of the height of the passenger side seat in comparison to the sun visor. It's useless in afternoon traffic. Also, the console where the gear shift is creates a dangerous glare in midday sun. Another issue is when we're driving the A/C just suddenly stops and after a few seconds starts again. Service says they can't replicate that. Lastly, I don't like how the key fob just randomly rolls the windows down. Evidentially that's a feature. Problem is that it's happened on its own and left my windows down all night! What if it had rained??

It’s a good vehicle but could use a few improvements. Less road noise. Better motor. Motor a bit of noise while accelerating from stops. I need a little more space in my vehicle. According to the sales manager they claim my vehicle lost 13,000$ since purchasing

Too much Technology for me.

I haven't bought a new vehicle in years, So all the new technology is somewhat alarming to me. However the backup warning sensor didn't seem to work the day I backed into a concrete pillar at the Tulsa County parking garage. It is somewhat very dark in the underground parking. I had to back up and I never saw the pillar nor did my back up camera and sensor warned me. There are still features I haven't even begun to explore. Also one time while in traffic the car suddenly did a hard brake and it startled me. There was no reason for it to do that. I was beginning to brake because as the car in front of me suddenly stopped. I did see it and was in full control of my vehicle. But the forward collision avoidance didn't think so. I am glad that Hyundai put out a recall. I took my vehicle to my Hyundai dealer and got the downloaded program. For the most part I like my Tucson. I just need less technology.

Love my Tucson

This is the most comfortable driving SUV. It’s great driving Long distances on the highway. My only complaint is the heated seats are inferior compared to the Tucson I had 3 yrs prior to this one.
