2025 Tucson review

Generally very satisfied with the vehicle. Good gas mileage. Good performance. Like the safety features. Things I wish it had: a compartment up above the rear view mirror for sunglasses; A/C outlets in the back of the center console; the smaller part of the split fold-down rear seat on the passenger side instead of the driver side. There is an annoying rattle inside the dashboard somewhere, started at about 5000 miles, can be heard on rougher roads.

New to SUV driving

Tucson is easy to drive and allows for an incredible view of the road. Rear view camera is very helpful and easy. Changing from a traditional dashboard to computer screen requires some practice. Generally enjoy the car, but did require a period of adjustment to the use of the computer functions. Very comfortable drive.

The only\nThing about this vehicle, sometimes it does not want to get-up-and-go.It hesitates and sometimes it does very well but man , when I go on trips, it is great on fuel.

Overall really pleased with choice to purchase. The driver seat is a bit uncomfortable but i can purchase padding. Seats seem to wear quickly. I am a larger size lady. Driver seat a little tight for my size.

Bad door locks

I absolutely hate the way I can't open and close my door. I'm supposed to touch the handle to lock or unlock the door and it never worked. It's very frustrating and then I have to look for my keys because I can't get in my car. Also my car hesitates all the time when I start up from a light

2025 Tucson Review summary

Within 2 months of Leasing the Tucson I noticed when the 2 rear windows were half way down both glass windows were loose & rocking back & forth. I made an appointment at the dealership to inspect both rear windows and the service department said all the Tucsons are the same. I have leased several Tucsons in the past years and the rear windows were never loose and rocking back & forth. When they are half way down they are very loose and rocking it seems like there is not 2 support brackets holding it in place. It feels nice there are only 1 support because it rocks side to side.

Transmission out after 2700 miles

Transmission out after 2700 miles, even though Hyundai has approved a new transmission, it maybe at the dealership until December. No one knows when it will be fixed. Your distribution centers are the bottleneck. Even the case manager assigned to me said she has done all she can do. But she can't tell me when I will have my brand new car back. By the way my case manager acted as if she didn't understand why we were complaining as if I had absolutely no right to be upset. This is the fourth Hyundai we have owned and it will be the last. I am trading this car the day I get it back and you can bet it won't be for another Hyundai.
