2025 Hyundai Tucson – A Great Drive with a Few Needed Tweaks

1. Key Fob Ergonomics While the key fob is aesthetically consistent with Hyundai’s modern branding, its physical footprint is quite substantial. For future iterations, a more compact or slim-profile design would be highly appreciated to make it more pocket-friendly and convenient for daily carry. 2. Enhanced Digital Cluster Personalization The ability to switch between "Simple" and "Classic" themes on the digital cluster is an excellent feature. That said, I believe there is a significant opportunity for more diverse visual themes. I would be very interested in—and would even be willing to purchase—additional premium cluster designs if Hyundai offered them as downloadable content. Expanding this library would allow owners to truly tailor the cabin ambiance to their personal style. 3. Observation Regarding the Climate Control System I have observed an occasional occurrence where the air conditioning/ventilation system activates while the vehicle is powered off and unoccupied. While I understand this may be linked to a moisture-reduction feature, the frequency and timing raise concerns regarding potential battery longevity and electrical efficiency. I would appreciate more transparency or control over this function to ensure the vehicle’s electrical systems remain optimized. Conclusion I am a happy Tucson owner and believe these adjustments would move the vehicle from "great" to "perfect." I look forward to seeing how Hyundai continues to innovate through software and design updates.

Very disappointed

All of the bells and whistles were supposed to make this vehicle better, instead, it's made it worse. Going through a yellow light, the vehicle violently slams on the breaks deciding I am too close to the vehicle ahead (all the while I am breaking and in control of the car), I very nearly missed being rear ended because of this feature. Yet, the vehicle did not break when four deer ran out in front of me. The touch screen is glitching after only having the car (aa 2025) a few months. Will not let me play the radio or see the clock. All buttons are frozen cannot use touch screen at all. High beam light is positioned so you cannot see it behind the steering wheel. Tires are wearing terribly because car was not properly aligned and when high beams are on, you can barely tell as they hardly shine any further ahead. Now, car does not want to open with automatic touch on door handle. Standing in a down pour, trunk refused to open. Had to get fob out of pocket to put groceries in trunk. Car sometimes pauses when pulling out.

Love it but...

I love the many features of the new Hyundai EXCEPT the coffee cup! It seems mostly to appear when I am in the middle of my lane and not when I am drifting right or left. I just tell it to F...off. Sometimes I think it starts after I have been driving an hour even if I am not drifting. I do wish the auto start would stay on a little longer. It only stays on 10 minutes and I would like it to do it for 15 minutes.

2025 Hyundai Tucson Lease

We have been very pleased overall with our new vehicle. I am somewhat disappointed in the lack of torque and/or hesitation when trying to accelerate, my husband says that he is happy with it. I think it's because I test drove a hybrid Tucson which had much better acceleration, but my husband didn't think spending the extra money for a hybrid (while leasing) would be cost effective so we didn't get a hybrid. In addition, our dealership agreed (verbally) to include the cargo mat and netting, but after 3 months of waiting and calling them, we have yet to receive them.
