2025 Hyuandi Tucson

I do not like the fact I can’t push the lock button on the door and lock the car as I am getting out. I have to press the handle which works right 40% of the time or search my purse for the keys.

Thought I wanted a Santa Fe, but LOVE my Tucson!

Had previously leased a Hyundai Santa Fe. Thought a Tucson might be a bit on the small side, BUT am VERY happy with it! Got ALL the bells and whistles, and is actually, just the PERFECT size!

Large learning curve for "features"

Had console issues, emergency brake not engaging and errors showing on display and display going blank after delivery. Dealer said there was a connection issue in the console. Console screen has gone blank a couple of times while driving and appeared to "reboot". Lasted less than 30 seconds, but still unnerving for it to happen while driving. Have had two occasions where the car was locked and we came out to find all the windows down and car unlocked. Tire Pressure monitor issues. Tire pressure low in very cold climate, adjusted pressure in tires and after one day of driving three of the four tires showed normal, but it took another two days before the 4th tire error finally went away. Eyes on Road warning very sensitive if you are wearing sunglasses. Warning as the car in front of you is turning sounds even if the car is no longer in your path. Have had the car automatically brake as I was pulling forward in to a parking lot and another car drove past the back of the car.

My Favorite

My Tucson is my favorite car. It’s extremely comfortable and extremely safe. I was in an accident after buying my first one and the car seriously crumbled so I wouldn’t, and all the safety features were extremely comforting and effective. It’s also such a beautiful looking car and something very nice to grow into!

Almost perfect

The number of features this vehicle has is astounding and for the price, it's very impressive. The seats are decent, but not luxurious or top quality. The engine is not powerful enough for highway driving, and sometimes stutters. It's slow to pick up the pace if stopped and starting again. The engine loudly protests if rapid acceleration is demanded. The gear shifter is awkward and takes some getting used to. Still not crazy about the design, but at least it doesn't take too long to pull out of the driveway anymore. Windshield wipers are not clearing the windshield properly, and the defrost is not powerful enough and takes a long time to warm up.
