Decent vehicle

The tucson I bought handles well and gets decent fuel economy. I average around 34 to 35 mpg. Has lots of storage space and plenty of leg room for a bigger driver. I'm 6 ft. Humbly recommend giving it a test drive if looking for this kind of vehicle.

Driver attention warning system makes car undriveable

Ride rides and handles very well. Engine is great. It is missing walk away locks and memory settings should be tied to key fob. On the negative side the DAW system goes off every five or six minutes. This is more than annoying on long trips. It is undriveable! Dealer says this is working to spec. No software fix and cannot be turned off. Can’t wait for lease end.

Terrible Hyundai company response to a serious problem

There is a terrible problem with the driver alert system which Hyundai has chosen to ignore. I have completed the lengthy survey that was sent detailing the problem. The alarm goes after you drive for 20 minutes on the open road and continues until you stop. Hyundai after being told of this problem has completely ignored my complaints. I also own a Santa Fe which does not have this problem and that makes me use this model my primary car to long trips. The problem limits me to only use the Tucson for local driving. Terrible company response. I doubt I will buy another Hyundai when the time comes.
