Fair to good. Excellent appearance some performance issues. I DID buy down, however, as I didn't like the appearance of the Santa Fe.

Not as good as my prior Tucson

Too many options have to be turned off, I don’t like a camera watching everything I do, not gas efficient at all horrible on gas, passenger seat should be electric no heat on the Sideview mirrors.

Tucson - Nice With A Few Shortcomings

Great vehicle. Many pluses: comfort, solid, great drive. A few negatives: (1) Instrument panel has many displays that are not bright enough to know when they’re on or not. Even worse when the sun hits them. (2) A recent software update negatively affected the radio functionality including the pre-sets. Very annoying, and thus far Hyundai has not addressed this problem even though many people have complained about it on social media. (3) Set-up of dashboard controls is very complicated and cumbersome. The owners manual does not provide any information that would help this. Requires you to go on the internet for assistance.

Wish the alarm turned on autmoatically after 30 secs. Do not like that the steering wheel keeps you in lane. Brakes stops automatically.

Tucson Drives Smooth But the Technology is Overwhelming

This is the second Hyundai vehicle we've purchased. The first, a 2013 Sonata, was the best vehicle we have ever owned, so we decided to stick with Hyundai but wanted a larger vehicle. The Tucson fit what we were looking for. The car drives well, but the technology is overwhelming. Figuring out how the dashboard lights, information screen, and media controls is an ongoing and daunting task. The "Take a Break" warning comes on for no seeming reason; I'm not weaving or driving too fast or slow, but all of a sudden the suggestion to take a break comes on, sometimes within one minute of starting to drive. The cruise control settings are probably the least favorite feature, especially the five-miles-per-hour increments.

My first Hyundai

Overall I am very pleased with my Tucson Sel plus. The sales department and Andrew were exceptional and it was mainly because of them that I chose Hyundai over another brand. My personal mechanic recommended Hyundai over my other chose. One issue was the wipers that were faulty. A minor detail.

Hyundai Tucson 2026

Overall Hyundai products are mechanically wonderful and fun to drive. I would like to see the controls placed better, especially the start/stop button, a compartment for garbage, and electric seats, gate lift and rear view mirror with garage opener to be standard in all vehicles.

not a bad vehicle but could be better to many different packages that forces people to get up grades that should be standard things like back up warning alarms should be standard charging outrageous prices for first aid kits mud flaps, floor mats, roof racks just a way to drive up price
