Safety Issue Investigation and Warranty Repair Request
I have been driving this vehicle for only two months, but I am experiencing several serious malfunctions that make me feel unsafe. I would like a thorough inspection and repair under warranty. Please also check if there are any applicable recalls or software updates for these issues.
1. Apple CarPlay Connectivity Issues
The connection to Apple CarPlay frequently drops or fails to initiate. The screen projection stops working in the middle of driving, causing the map to disappear, which is very dangerous while navigating.
2. Transmission/Gear Engagement Malfunction
There is a dangerous intermittent lag when switching from Parking > Reverse > Drive. On several occasions, after shifting from Reverse to Drive, the car remained in Reverse. When I pressed the accelerator, the car suddenly moved backward. This is a critical safety concern.
3. Unintended Emergency Braking
The automatic brakes suddenly engaged in a parking lot without any obstacles present. I suspect a defect in the radar or sensors. Please investigate the safety system and sensor calibration.
4. System Freeze / Start Button Failure
Once, after pressing the Start button, the vehicle’s system glitched/froze completely, and the car became inoperable for a period.
5. Intermittent Failure of the Auto Stop-Start (ISG) System: The Idle Stop & Go (ISG) feature, which should engage when the brake pedal is depressed, fails to activate with high frequency. This indicates another inconsistency in the vehicle's electronic or mechanical systems.
Since the vehicle is almost brand new, I am very concerned about these reliability issues. Please provide a detailed report of your findings and any repairs or software updates performed.
