Our Second Tucson

We love our new Tucson Limited. Traded in a 2021 model for a 2026. We like all the new features: bigger screen, new shifting mechanism, heads up display. The new console design and added storage on the dash solved some of the complaints we had about our 2021 model. The camera 360° display is fantastic and very useful at times. A vibrating steering wheel gives unmistakable warnings when immediate action may be required. Remote parking feature is not needed often, but is very useful at times. Cooled seats make Florida heat bearable. I can't think of a feature I would like to have that isn't included in this car. I did move the WeatherTech floor mats from our 2021 model. Already had great protection in the cargo area.

close look at how it all works

I really like most of the vehicle's options! Very driver friendly. A couple of things that are very annoying. One, and most significant, is the illumination of the status panel in the front center of the dash. Seat heating and cooling, fan speed, AC on/off, ect. All of those indicator lights are almost impossible to see during the day! They are so dim, you can't tell what's off or On. The speed compensation radio volume does not work well at all. Worked much better in my late model GM vehicles. The split outside door handle has a tendence to pinch your fingers if you are not very careful in opening the door.

Just ok. motor sounds like garbage

drives good. no power tho. motor sounds horrible with a constant clicking.

This Tucson is not safe to drive!

I like the look and feel of this vehicle but it is unsafe to drive and I have zero confidence in it! Shortly after I leased it, I experienced a dead throttle, that is step on the gas and get zero response. This is not a good situation and I have been lucky that I have not been in a accident driving it. It has been back to a Hyundai Dealerships 3 times now. The first 2 times to the same dealership and they did not find anything wrong but the day after getting it back, I had the problem and contacted Hyundai directly. I was advised to take it to a different Hyundai Dealer and that is where it`s at now! I like the Tucson and really like the interior and feel but the driving experience is a no go ! I took my Sister to the Dealer I got my car from but talked her into a Tucson Hybrid so she would not experience what I am going thru with the 2.5L engine setup. So far my sister loves her Tucson Hybrid and she does not have any problem with hers!

Not happy

This is my 3rd Tuscon and our 6th Hyundai. I want to be truthful. I am disappointed. We purchased the limited model and I'm so surprised at how cheap some things are. Even compared to our 2021 Tuscon. Even the seat belt buckles are like plastic from kids dollar store toys. Not so on last vehicle. For a limited I expected more. The shifter on the steering wheel is a cheap piece of plastic that feels like it will break off if I touch it wrong. It's nice enough to look at and my husband likes it, but for me this will be my last Tuscon. I wanted to go a little bigger with the Sante Fe but the new look is awful. I had one years ago and it was beautiful. Very loyal to Hyundai and service is great but to have a new car and not be happy isn't a good feeling. Miss the one I traded. Don't sell out Hyundai. You have some loyal customers out there. Also the touch door handles work when they feel like it.
