Average Experience; Should Have Gone with Limited Edition

Overall, the 2026 Hyundai Tucson SEL offers an average driving experience. It tends to feel a bit bland on the road and lacks that "fun-to-drive" factor I was hoping for. While the exterior styling is really good and looks futuristic, the driving dynamics feel bland and the suspension is quite stiff over bumps. Furthermore, the SEL trim lacks many everyday convenience features I find myself needing. If I could do it over again, I would definitely opt for the higher-tier Limited edition for better features and more engagement.

Ghilardi

Seating and riding is comfortable. The front seats are just a little bit tight for me. There are a couple of items that are not the best. The seat settings do not recognized he mobile key. The seat settings are not activated by the profile alone. The mode button is a toggle and is sensitive. I have bumped it a number of time reaching for the screen to turn on/off various other features. The cargo net is not very useful in my opinion. A couple of times the transmission did not shift correctly. This happened right after starting the car in the morning. In one case, I could not accelerate and had to pull over and restart the car. The other time, it resolved after a few hundred yards.

Reliable & fun

This vehicle is comfortable, remarkably gas-efficient, & assumingly a solid all-weather ride ( I've only had it 2 1/2 months, but my previous 2 Elantras, 1 Tuscon, & 2 Konas were).

Everything I want!

I’ve been a Hyundai customer for awhile. Started with Elantra, then Santa Fe, then Kona, now Tucson. The Elantra and Santa Fe both kept over 100,000 miles and never did anything but change oil and tires. No problem with the Kona either, I just wanted the 0% interest on the Tucson. The ride is great and fuel mileage is awesome!

Overall Good Drive

The overall car is very good and fun to drive. I have been having issues with a noise coming from the passenger tire at the front. I bought it brand new, there shouldn't be any noise coming.

2026 Tuscon love most of the features

I have had my Tuscon since June 2026. I love the features, my only complaint is that the auto high beams feature has to be turned on everytime you start the car while driving at night. I hate the auto start/stop feature and turn it off everyone. The dashboard screen is really great.

Great Vehicle

Excellent vehicle . Rides and drives amazing . Comfort features very intuitive. No issues. Only thing I would change is I would like to be able to permanently turn off the engine shut off at stops instead of having to turn it off every drive cycle. And a V6 would be nice
