Hyundai Tuscon

Overall we are very happy with our new Tuscon. There are a few things that I don't like. I miss some features that were standard in my VW Tiguan like floor lighting and great visibility through all windows. This is our fourth Hyundai. Two Santa Fe and a Getz before the Tuscon.

Everything I want

This vehicle is very well appointed, comfortable and runs like a top. The front wheel drive gives me enough traction for wet Florida pavement. The car puts along just fine on the open road. Ive already drove from The Villages, Florida to Chicago and enjoyed the comfort level and conveniences the Tucson afforded me. The engine is quiet and has more than enough power for me.

I have never owned a Tucson ;but, I keep getting notifications about it. I have called Hyundai, but they continue to insist that I own one.

Tucson A/C Light, Dash & App

Overall, we like our 2026 Hyundai Tucson. The A/C light is very hard to see during daylight hours... can't tell if it is on or off. I wish the dash was simpler and easier to navigate. The Hyundai app on my phone constantly adds "Your Vehicle is Unlocked" when it is parked in my garage... can't figure out how to turn it off. I'm happy that the engine stop feature can be turned off.

This 2026 Tucsan is my Favorite Hyundai yet!

I love this SUV! It has great pickup and feels stable and comfortable in all driving situations, both local and expressway. South Florida does not have the easiest of driving conditions. The weather and transient population are unpredictable. local and expressway. This car handles it all excellently!

Average Experience; Should Have Gone with Limited Edition

Overall, the 2026 Hyundai Tucson SEL offers an average driving experience. It tends to feel a bit bland on the road and lacks that "fun-to-drive" factor I was hoping for. While the exterior styling is really good and looks futuristic, the driving dynamics feel bland and the suspension is quite stiff over bumps. Furthermore, the SEL trim lacks many everyday convenience features I find myself needing. If I could do it over again, I would definitely opt for the higher-tier Limited edition for better features and more engagement.

Seating and riding is comfortable. The front seats are just a little bit tight for me. There are a couple of items that are not the best. The seat settings do not recognized he mobile key. The seat settings are not activated by the profile alone. The mode button is a toggle and is sensitive. I have bumped it a number of time reaching for the screen to turn on/off various other features. The cargo net is not very useful in my opinion. A couple of times the transmission did not shift correctly. This happened right after starting the car in the morning. In one case, I could not accelerate and had to pull over and restart the car. The other time, it resolved after a few hundred yards.
