Good Car, bad dealer

The vehicle demonstrates exceptional qualities, encompassing both interior design and driving dynamics. The unfavorable experience with the dealer has led me to reconsider recommending this brand or leasing another new vehicle in the future. The combination of Hyundai and Genesis dealerships without an improvement in service quality appears to be an unfortunate decision.

Upon purchasing this vehicle the service I received concerning several technical issues was less than expected from the price level. Eventually, things were addressed and no issues since.

14 Months Driving GV70 in all climates

It's a great car but not perfect. Cons include- steep learning curve, spurious check engine light, slow to change driver settings, poor gps, not as good in the snow as expected

Moms car

No issues with vehicle itself. Only issue was a manufacturing cosmetic miscue. There was a strip of black chrome on one back quarter panel when all the rest were silver. Since the piece itself could not simply be replaced, they had to redo the whole quarter panel, including paint. The paint kid had flaws and, to this date it has not been rectified.

A Genesis Family

The GV70 is a very comfortable and stylish ride. The red interior is lovely and has the perfect shade of a red (not too bright or too dark). I get a lot of people who are fascinated with the beauty of my GV70. And I get the question "what kind of car is that?" a lot - followed by "That is a beautiful ride you have." And I respond with a smile, a thank you and say, it drives beautiful too. My passengers and I love how the seats automatically slide back for you to get in and adjust once you are seated. There is so many beautiful features about a Genesis and the only way I can sum up a review is to say, I will never want to drive another make of car, it has to be a Genesis.

Gensis is not up to the quality of Cadilac or Accura

The vehicle is nice to look at but the brakes make loud noise when backing up. The vehicle has 33,000 miles on it and though it is quieter than when it was new it is still annoying. The people at the service department are very nice but basically it is something I have to live with. Also I live in a snow region and the all weather winter floor mats are very cheap and hard to place in, The cargo floor mat I actually threw out in the garbage. After market floor mats fit better and are higher quality.

Too many trips back to the dealership for factory issues!

List of issues that we have had to return to the dealership for. Number one four new tires required upon delivery of the vehicle. Number two fall in the interior that had to be replaced. Number three fuel injector had to be replaced. Number four headlamp assembly had to be replaced number five two trips to the dealership diagnose and replace something in the steering assembly. This is something we might expect out of a used vehicle but certainly not what we expected out of a brand new luxury level vehicle. At this time we are questioning our choice of purchasing a Genesis.
