Comfort and style

One of the nicest vehicles I’ve owned. Always complimented on its looks. Enjoy the feel. Some minor issues. Apple car play is a struggle that shouldn’t be. Menu dial is very sensitive. Everything else is comparable to my years in a Mercedes.

Great Car, but it does NOT work

Loved the car until after week one when the battery continually needed to get a jump after rest for 3 days or less. Now the passenger seat does NOT work and the climate controls do NOT work. A new car that is sold as a premium vehicle with the corresponding price tag should work! No relief in sight as the Genesis dealer has not been able to fix. Buy any car other than a Genesis and save yourself a lot of hassle and disappointment.

Performance, comfort, luxury!

Really loving driving our Genesis so far! All 5 of my family members have driven it and, so far, our only complaint is that we wish there was a massaging seat for the passenger! The ride is smooth and comfortable. The luxurious features make you feel very fancy. It’s fun to drive and has great pick up. When driving, you have to keep your eye on the speedometer, because you don’t realize how fast you’re going! Oh, one small complaint: I wish the center console between the front driver and passenger seat was designed smarter. I do not like that, while driving, I have to try to remove the upper tray in order to get to my tissues in the lower, larger compartment. I like the upper tray for smaller items, like pens and such, so I don’t want to remove the tray…but perhaps there could be a two stage opening as in a jeep grand Cherokee, where you push one button to open the small top tray and another button to open the larger bottom compartment.

Refined Luxury at an Affordable Price

This Genesis is sharp looking, luxurious, comfortable, and fools people to think it's a Bentley. All for a price that is reasonable. You get the best bang for your buck and the car drives amazingly well! No regrets and it's been by far one of the best vehicles I've owned.

did not “start out very well”; but it was made RIGHT and ALL is Good!

My biggest complaint is that we cannot “find”…either from dealership or internet….a current info sheet mapping all the “buttons on the steering wheel” and how to enable them!!!

Good vehicle with lots of room for improvement

Good value for the money, but the seats are very uncomfortable on my 2025 Prestige 2.5. My lower back is killing me on any trip longer than an hour. Seats In my 2014 Toyota four runner were much more comfortable and the 4Runner is not a luxury SUV. Also hate the camera on the steering column that is very intrusive and you can not turn off. It is annoying as hell and I would not buy again if I would have realized this. I don’t need to pay a ton of money for a car to aggravate the hell out of me telling me to take a break. I frequently do outdoor activities were I stand waiting behind my vehicle with the hatch open for long periods of time. There is no way to turn the lights off in the rear cargo area of the vehicle without shutting the hatch. My 4Runner had a switch to turn of the lights on the lift gate. Can’t believe Genesis overlooked this.

Love everything but…

The driver assist is way too “bossy”! It is constantly dinging and telling me to “ take a break” … 95% of the time, I have no clue what triggered it. It can get very annoying on trips and there is no way I can find to turn it off.

AC DIED

I love my GV80 except the air conditioning compressor went out at 6300 miles. While many would say it’s a fluke for this to happen and I would agree but it happened to me and I’m not too happy about it. Other than that, it’s a wonderful car and maybe a little bit too much technology.

Off the trailer White, Blue leather, Orange Stitching 2025 GV80 Coupe

This is my new off the trailer with plastic still on it White, with Blue leather and orange stitching 2025 GV80 Coupe. Thus far, overall I am VERY happy with this vehicle, although I do have a few suggestions for the automaker as listed below. I traded in a Porsche for this vehicle (and have owned 3 Porsches in the past) and have owned 2 mercedes in the past as well, so instead of buying one of those vehicles again I choose to buy this vehicle primarily based features for the money and reputation of the Hyundai/Genesis brand and the way they stand behind the vehicle with a 5 year 60,000mi bummer-to-bummer warranty which is the best in the industry. So, why not give it a chance? It is a great looking vehicle and I have gotten nothing but complements on the vehicle so far, people asking what kind of car that is....., when I tell them they can not belive it and when they see the inside they are blowen away how beautiful it is.
