Great electric car

I just traded this car in for a 2025 Ionic 5. It is a wonderful around town car with almost 400 miles per charge. Seats are comfortable and there is plenty of cargo room. I traded it in for a couple of upgrades; first the back window wiper for better visibility in the rain, second the ability to use my smart phone as a key and 3rd the improved center console area and 4th darker interior. The Grey interior of the Hyundai is almost white and I have a dog..... I plan to keep this car for at least 5 years, maybe more.

Nicely styled car, certain features needed, dealer service okay

Great styling on the car, but some features are missing like rear window wipers and cargo hold cover. Battery degradation us a big concern after two years and less 20,000 miles driven. Dealer service could be better.

Decent Powertrain. Low tier interior

Decent Powertrain. Charges fast, good acceleration. Low-tier interior, for a car that's in the price range of a low-end Audi or Volvo, the interior cannot match those. The Hyundai dealership experience for both buying and service is subpar. The car had AC issues and 12V battery issues. Poor tire choice with low-quality foam inserts.

Rear hatch rattle spoils ownership experience.

Rear hatch continuously rattles. Dealer performed the suggested TSB with updated closing hardware. Did not solve the issue. Rattle makes the car feel cheap.

A great EV

I LOVE this car! The only changes I’d make is adding a rear windshield wiper and a charging port that is adaptable to Tesla super chargers.

Smooth and Quiet Ride. A+

Great car. Since I live in a northern state, just not having to fill up my tank in the winter scores the Ioniq a ton of points. Also, it's a smooth ride. The system is mostly intuitive to use and the car gets a lot of compliments.
