problems w/ the battery: Hyundai fails to fix despite multiple recalls
Quit slapping a Band-Aid on the battery issues. Shame on Hyundai. It looks like they’re just waiting for a class action lawsuit. The ICCU problems never go away, no matter how many times they pretend to “fix” them. Now some Ioniq 5's are just catching fire due to the faulty high voltage battery. FIX THE ISSUES!!!
They advertised fast charging, yet you’re lucky to see more than 10 kW—and most of the time it drops to 6-8 kW. That’s not just misleading, it’s false advertising.
On top of that, the car is a safety hazard. The rear window is useless in any kind of precipitation, yet Hyundai didn’t bother to include a wiper. The so-called “recall fix” for the rattling in the back? A joke—it still rattles nonstop. And Velcro to hold down the back mat? That’s not engineering, that’s laziness.
Hyundai has cut corners everywhere, and it shows.
