Wonderful EV, can't go wrong!

I followed Consumer Reports recommendation and purchased the Ioniq 5 SEL 2024 model and have been very, very pleased with it. My son, who has had multiple expensive cars over the years, recently drove my vehicle and remarked how impressed he was with it. I am very very satisfied with my car. It feels luxurious without an excessive price tag.

Love having physical buttons for operations! Nice balance of tech and physical interaction in the car. Needs rear wipers. Very big miss. Legal screen on startup every time - it has to stop! I am using my digital key why do I have to click a user agreement every start up?

Great overall car though it is a bit pricey

This car is fun to drive and operating costs are extremely low if you charge at home. Maintenance requirements are low. It has plenty of room inside and in my opinion looks good.

Fun to drive and a comfortable ride, with excellent EV features

The car has been reliable and very fun to drive. We enjoy the drivability, handling and comfort. There were a few manufacturer's defects that were taken care of by the dealership, found during the first couple of years. It has been the best EV I've had for road trips, by far, with the fast high-speed charging.

Ioniq5 is the best EV that you can have now

Charging time is the key and Ioniq 5 is the GOAT level on this. Wish Hyundai is generous to allow SEL trim to have surround camera. Also, software is the main reason why I keep looking at Tesla's web page. Need to improve it.

solid car, buggy usb android auto connection, wonky lane keep

2 main complaints: - The android auto kept disconnecting frequently. It doesn't support wireless, but even with the wired setup, it is disappointing how often it would disconnect and flap quite often until I fully plug out the usb and plug it back in. - Lane assist generally works but it does tend to always stick to the right lane. Maybe it always uses the right camera more or something. There have been times (happens about half the time) when it would steer extremely close to the right side of the lane without needing to, and this is exacerbated during turns when the car doesn't handle itself well.

Works fine

Works fine. Could use a rear windows wiper. Also climate control should allow dual setting for heat vrs cooling. Ie. Cabin at 65 for heating and 78 for cooling. Alternate allow manual heating or ac or just ventilation. This would improve power consumption.
