Worst car i ever had

Simply got leased 2 years with great promotion and having left 5 more months to return so far. Its current mileage is less than 15k and it's sitting at dealership waiting new battery replacement since 5/27. Severe battery issue!! Nothing was explained and asked just to wait for the battery arrival which said back ordered without ETA. They gave me Sonata as a loaner car and i am paying gas out of my pocket for a month now which they are saying no reimbursement. The only 2 reasons i had to choose this ionic5 was just 2 years lease and free charging. Before that 2 year, battery is gone and you have to pay gas for the loaner car not knowing when your car will be ready. What else can be any good to get this car? Driving wise, it is quiet, smooth and fast. But that's all. Nothing you can expect other than that. I would not recommend and so disappointed with Hyundai.

I love the Ioniq 5! Highly recommended

There are only two issues I have with my Ioniq 1) rattling rough ride and 2) dark interior at night driving.

Lame support

Will simply never buy another Hyundai. The company emailed me about the upgrade to a Tesla charger. I went to the dealership to pick one up. Sorry, you missed the deadline.

Fun to drive, Roomy interior. Some hardware could be higher quality.

Unique design with pixelated lights, great acceleration and comfortable seats. The 12V battery died before the car was two years old and left me stranded. More robust 12V battery should be used. Also the fake metal trim on exterior is easily scratched, and the paint job has lots of orange peel (wavy appearance).

Ioniq 5 Perfect EV

The Ioniq 5 is near perfect. I was exposed to it as a rental car on a work trip. My prior experience with an EV was a rental Tesla. I was amazed by how much better the Ioniq 5 is in comparison. Even compared to many cars on sale that are not EVs, the Ioniq shines with intuitive driver controls, space and comfort, and handling on the road.

does not have any where the range. 1.4 times the energy to go a mile

never more than a 75 quarters of a charge and less range promised. this creates not much range for a lot of time at a charge station. really bad when you have to wait.

(Almost) loving my 2024 Ioniq 5

Overall, we are pleased with the vehicle. It handles well, rear wheel drive efficiency is good and it is quite comfortable and well equipped in the Limited trim. This is the second Hyundai we have owned. My only and unfortunately, very annoying problem is a rattle from the rear hatch that the dealer has indicated they are unable to repair. They indicated that the recall for the earlier model really didn’t fix it and it won’t fix ours either. Unfortunately, when my three-year lease ends, I won’t consider buying out the vehicle and may not even consider getting another Ioniq five as the rattle persists over any type of small or large bump.
