Best Car I’ve Ever Owned

I love, love, love my Ioniq 5. If it had a back windshield wiper and integrated ApplePlay, I would give it 5 stars. All of the features work beautifully, and I use them all except for auto park, which I can’t quite figure out. The seats are comfortable and the ride smooth and quiet. I get about 350 miles on a full charge- maybe a little less when it is cold, and this is more than adequate for me.

Ioniq5, after 1 year

Have driven this vehicle for one year and this is my 1st EV. I continue to be impressed with the quality, performance, and quick charge capability. Fun car to drive. One negative - Hyundai has promised the EV charge adapter to use the Tesla charging network. Where is it???

Lots of fun!

We are having a lot of fun with our Ioniq. Especially as we pass gas stations and wave. It is peppy, quiet and very comfortable. And service is so simple - tire rotation most of the time. Parkway Hyundai in Wilmington NC has been one of the best car dealers we have ever dealt with and our saleswoman (Liz) was a star. No pressure - just lots of info and answers to our questions.

Love the Ioniq 5

It's a great looking car. It handles extremely well. It has so many safety features. The air is pretty air tight. I 'detail' it each time I clean it by hand and very little dirt/dust gets inside the vehicle including the hood area, hatchback, and the interior. It's really FAST which I love--makes me feel safe. I can get out of trouble and get out of someone's way with ease. Someone walked in front of my car right off the sidewalk and my car just stopped before I had time to react. The voice recognition works very well. If you go to 100% charge for a long trip you can get over 300 miles which is reasonable given there are a lot of charging stations thruout the nation. I highly recommend you consider this car.

Ride smoothly, quiet, good torque and good safety feature

It’s a very good car, powerful, quiet, smooth ride, good charging experience, it’s pretty fast. The front sensors are a little too sensitive. The displays are nice, but for the price tag seats could be better and interior is having too much hard Plastic. It looks looks like the value is in the power train not so much on the interior materials.

We like the car overall. I like the fast charging. App/car software feels dated and not as intuitive as it should be. Battery preconditioning should be easier. Driver profiles should work, and remember seat positions.
