a pleasure to drive
a quiet vehicle, feels solid and safe and looks good. fun to meet other ionic 5 drivers and compare notes. there is a steep learning curve driving a totally electric vehicle but you take one step at a time. The Northwood dealership in Eureka, CA was very supportive and the sales rep Chris Ringler was very patient teaching me the basics and answering my questions. At this point, 6 months after purchasing the car, my two most pertinent complaints about the car is that there is no windshield wiper on the rear window and the way it is designed, it gets quite dirty and compromises visibility. The second dislike is that from what i can tell there is no ability to vent fresh air from outside. I have to use air conditioning and some days i would just like to get the ambient air from outside fanning the interior without opening the windows which then contribute to noise while driving.
