Atrocious welding

This car has spent months in the shop while they look for all the welds that weren't done correctly the first time. It will go back in December again for the same problems. It seems they put these cars together with duct tape and squirrel spit.

Fun to drive, and very comfortable for long trips

Our Ioniq 5 SEL is the most fun to drive of any care I've ever owned, especially because of the tremendous acceleration. It is also wide enough to be extremely comfortable for my wife and me on long drives (and short ones too).

IONIQ 5 - GREAT VEHICLE

Love this car. A couple small things I would change though. 1. Rear window wind shield wiper is needed. 2. The speedometer on the display is sort of hidden behind the left side of the steering wheel instead of being in the center of the display screen. There is one problem which I haven't had addressed - the interior light above the rear view mirror on the drive side keeps coming on while I'm driving - it stays on sometimes and other times it goes right out - but it is distracting.

Hyundai Ionic 5, 2024 model

I had a nearly good three years with my leased 2024 Ionic 5. However, I had the misfortune of not once but twice having the ICCU fail while I was in heavy rush hour traffic. Very scary.
