Great Electric SUV and It's Not a Tesla!

Great electric vehicle, especially if you are mostly commuting around town. Fun, practical, roomy and efficient. Plenty of pep with the long-range real wheel drive setup. No need for the fast & furious AWD. You get all the benefits of owning an electric vehicle without the baggage of a billionaire con artist.

Convenience, Comfort & Style

I love the convenience and lack of pollution of an electric vehicle! My Ioniq 2024 is a pleasure to drive, and I live 3 miles in on a gravel road. It handles snow like a dream. It pulls a loaded 5'x8' trailer like it's not even there. The only downsides are the lack of a rear-window blade, which was corrected the following year, and this 'Model T' era of battery ranges the industry seems to be stuck in. Until we get a 500-1000 mile batteries, the EV industry will lag behind the ICE industry. On a recent road trip, I chose to rent a gas vehicle, so I didn't have to worry/hassle with finding open and operational charges. PS - I now own an electric riding mower, snow thrower and, of course, string trimmer and leaf blower. Long live electricity!

Excellent electric vehicle

Two years and 22,000 miles with absolutely no problems. Every 8000 miles I take it in for tire rotation. All the bells and whistles have worked well without any problems getting close to 300 miles with my rear wheel drive.

This car is affordable luxury with all the bells and whistles!

This car was my dream car for three years… And then it became my reality… And it did not disappoint! This car is solid and does not feel cheap at all. It drives so smoothly and has all the bells and whistles I could’ve hoped for and then some. The little touches they thought of really make a difference like the sliding center console. Super easy to control certain functions with the blue link app, like heating the car up in the winter time before I get to it or cooling it down in the summertime. I love this car so much and I’m excited to see what they’re going to do to improve it even more.

Such fun and practicality is great

I’ve had several sporty SUVs in the past, and this is the best of all worlds and the practicality and cost of it have been worlds above. I would have a hard time going back to an ice vehicle.

Lovin' it

I've had no problems with the vehicle since swapping out the original 12 volt battery. Works great in the snow in snow mode with winter tires. Handles very securely. The back windshield is useless in winter (2024 model which lacks a wiper) but by cleaning the backup and rear view camera each evening to remove salt and grime I'm able to back up securely. Rear trunk rattled but inserting rubber washers fixed that. Being primarily a motorcycle rider prior to owning the Ioniq, I gotta say it is the first car I've ever enjoyed driving since my first (an International Harvester Scout).

Good for a small town

This car is great for driving short distances. In cold, winter weather, the battery charge tops about at about 220 miles for 100% charge and it uses the charge more quickly so that a distance on 10 miles will use perhaps 15-20 ‘miles’ of the charge. Whereas in the warmer months, 100% charge is about 330 miles and 10 miles of distance will only cost about 8 -9 miles of the charged miles.
