Great car

Good driving, comfortable car, spacious. Missing walk away lock. Charges up to 150kwph on a 350kw no shared charger. Very smooth smart cruise control with lane following assist. Online support is very slow and generic. I enquired about the phone app feature (digital key) to walk away lock but most phones tried were non compatible, one of them being a 2025 moto g.

Great car, nervous about the ICCU

Fun to drive, looks amazing, excellent car. Nervous to drive it after all the reports of ICCU issues. Driving over a long bridge without a spot to quickly pull over is nerve wracking. I'd be recommending this car left and right if the ICCU quality problem was resolved.

Bad ICCU

ICCU died @ 5,000 miles. Interior of car is loud and creaky, as if interior panels were incorrectly installed.

As good as this car is it would be perfect with a proper steering wheel adjustment mechanism (instead of the current hokey system) and soft close doors.

Great with just a few flaws

Quiet, comfortable, and quick. Great drained such as heated seats, heated steering wheel, and adaptive cruise control. Climate control display needs work. Keyless entry after opening the trunk also needs tweaking. Lastly, where do I I put my sunglasses?

Car has been great but having trouble with the app

I have really enjoyed the car however my app has stopped working I put a ticket in and waited two weeks and I never heard back from anyone. I then called and talked with two different people they walked me through some steps then they said they had to go talk with the engineers and that I will have to wait up to 10 more days. I am now at day 10 or 11 and have not heard anything back.

Love the electric car aspects, but the infotainment is terrible

The infotainment system is incredibly frustrating to use and very slow. Defaults to the second page of settings, takes forever to load your profile, disconnects from audio constantly.

Seems like the best alternative to Tesla. I love driving it. I don’t like public charging, but I have a home charger which makes this perfect.

Efficient and fun to drive.

The ionic 5 is sleek and fun to drive. The features of the limited trim provide everything id want and the electric range is great. I am a larger man and sit comfortable in the vehicle. The only gripe I have would be limited cargo space in the rear.

Good But ICCU is a Big Worry on long, fully loaded trips

Love the car except for the continuing ICCU failures reported by owners. I know four other owners, all of them have had an ICCU failure. I travel fully loaded with the family on 1000-2500 mile trips, where an ICCU failure would be a big problem. Wish I had known the recalls and previous attempts to fix were not a solution before I leased this car.
