It's a really great car but has one week spot. If they guarantee that

The 2023–2024 models had recalls for the ICCU known problem with failures. It's the device that feeds energy from the main battery to the 12 V battery that runs all the instruments on the panel etc. It has a tendency to fail like-minded at 3000 miles. It seems like the kind of device they should be able to figure out how to make it work. If they promised me that they'll fix any failure in the next 10 years I'll keep the car. Right now I have at leased.

2025 Ioniq 5 review

We are generally happy with our Ioniq 5 with a couple of exceptions. The EV aspects are wonderful and we appreciate fossil fuel-free driving every day. The 2 biggest issues with the car are 1) the rattle in the tailgate and 2) the poor GPS navigation. The tailgate rattle is a well known issue for the model and has been for years. And, yet, we just took it to our dealer for a fix and it still rattles! The dealer as much as admitted that what they did was not likely to work, at least for long. My question is how is it possible that Hyundai cannot solve this problem??? The navigation system often gives incorrect or poor directions.

Love the vehicle despite ICCU issue

Overall we love the car. Unfortunately my wife got stranded late at night in winter weather when the ICCU failed. I’ve had two ICCU failures now in two different lease cars. I would like to hit the car but will continue to lease until Hyundai re engineers that issue

Great Electric Car

I LOVE my Ioniq 5! It has all of the features I love plus a whole bunch more. It rides like a dream, a single charge lasts me all week and it's super comfortable. The only thing I don't like is that there is no seat memory. So as my husband and I switch back and forth we are constantly adjusting the seat.

Good daily driver - not good value at the price I paid

I like this car a lot as a commuter vehicle. I don't find the value there where the MSRP was. I leased this car when there were still Federal and State tax incentives to make the price of the car appealing, but at current retail, there are much more attractive vehicles out there.
