Great car

I wish the default for regenerative braking was Auto, and also that you had a setting to identify a bike and bike rack on the car and not need to shut down the side and front sensors.

Good car, but don't like all of the Electronics/System integration

There are Hyundai maps and CarPlay maps. They do not play well together. Also, I have one profile and I always have to wait 10 seconds or physically press the button to get it to advance. I would love to have a way to just default to the one user and not have to do this. I read a lot about the ICCU, I am a bit afraid of having problems with this.

Awesome Electric Vehicle

We leased the IONIQ 5 Limited RWD because it was our first EV. I will definitely buy an EV again. Value for the $$ is much better with Hyundai too. Technology in vehicle is great. Look of exterior and interior is great. Only issue we had was sunroof shade wouldn't open and close, so dealer did a calibration procedure and now it works. Highlights: Fast charging, excellent technology set, great interior, has physical buttons for common used selections like cooled seats. Negatives: Low to the ground so harder to get in and out of, doesn't offer self-driving functionality.

My only complaint is that after 2 months, the charging flap on the vehicle no longer works unless you hit the button inside the car.

Not sure

Bought brand new, 1800 miles in got warning on dash “check electrical”. Dealer had the car for next 3 weeks and finally replaced the brain of the car because they could find the fault. please see below for other complaints. Need more comfortable Seats!

Struggling to get spare parts

I am waiting since 3 month now for the replacement of a defect door handle. E-mails to the sales rep don't get answers. The windshield wipers leave a smear. The charger delivered with the car crashes regularly. Aside from these toothing issues, the car has been running well for the 1st 200 miles.

Excellent experience so far

Very happy with our Ioniq 5. I was expecting more accessories on our model level; IN PARTICULAR this level should have heated seats and automatic driver seat and mirror adjustment.

My 2026 IONIQ 5 Limited

I bought the car a month ago, and I am still learning about the car. I watched about a dozen videos on the various functions. I am trying to make habits of the most useful ones. I love the car's smooth drive and no road noise of the car. The car is quiet. The interior is luxurious. I have been on one trip and found no problem with remote charging. In time, I will learn more and perhaps have more to say.
