Love My Hyundai

I'm very glad I bought my 1st Hyundai. There are a few things that could be better so far (6,900 miles): 1. I had to replace my front windshield wipers prior to 1,000 miles because they never worked properly...left large sreaks 2. When it is cold, freezing and wet, the front grill that opens while driving (where the radar is) freezes shut. I then got messages saying forward collidion warning system is not working. I love the technology and have come to depend on it. Maybe the engineers can figure out how to prevent freezing.

I have had my Sante Fe Hybrid for just over a year and could not be happier. It is a smooth ride and I get excellent milage, approximately 36-38 MPG. Mostly highway miles

Love it - I should do a commercial for the Santa Fe :)

I love the enterior it is Very comfy to drive long distances. I feel very visible when driving around semis. A little too big for some tight LA CITY parking, Great Value for the $, I Love the exterior look and that it doesn't look like all the other cars on the road. Comfy for my dogs to ride across the country!

could be better

- I had to stop using the finger print as it rarely worked and it was extremely slow - the wipers in front and back - the knob is hard to see and confusing - the power button on the liftgate itself shouldn't be there, it should be down lower and off to the side - seat positions are set with each user, however they change in between users, meaning they don't hold, constantly resetting - how do you return to the original set speed on the speed control? you don't make it easy to figure out without looking it up! - why isn't Google maps used instead? the one with the vehicle is worthless - why can't i use the lock button on the door itself when exiting? -

Love it, but you won't get the MPG the sticker says

Very comfortable ride, fits our family very well. Lots of room and a fun vehicle to drive. We take it on long trips (over 5 hours) and everyone in the family is comfortable. We love the safety features, except that the forward warning bells go off constantly even when in reverse. For example, when backing out of the garage, the forward warnings are all going off. This feels like a software upgrade Hyundai could do that would help immensely. They did update the HDA driving assist so that you can use cruise while wearing sunglasses. That fix was great.

Could have been great

Like the concept and execution especially the hybrid features of mileage and performance. We leased this vehicleand had previously leased a Palisade. We wanted to try the Sante Fe because as we get older, it is a much more convenient vehicle to get in and out of and of course has better mileage, handles well, and has less road noise. What was a shock is that we thought we would have the same level of features as our Palisade SEL. My mouth dropped open when I got home with the new Sante Fe to find out there was no Home Link. Seating adjustments were absolutely minimal leaving both of us to having to readjust manually when we tool over to drive and never really getting as comfortable in the seat as our previous Hyundai. That's our "nutshell" review
