I love my Santa Fe

We call my Santa Fe “Tank”. We love her. I love her size, I love all the seats, my friends love the heated back seats. There is probably nothing I dislike. I had a Tucson first. So I miss the “jump” button u had in the Tucson.

Smooth as Silk-Runs like a Champ!

Our Santa Fe Hev moves nimbly and the transition between the Electric and Gas engines is seamless. Coupled with so much room for comfortably moving passengers or gear has me smiling at just the thought of driving it. Drove it solo from LA to Minneapolis and back and it shined on the open road, eating up the miles like hot buttered popcorn. Yeah- would definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Great all-around vehicle with a few annoying quirks

The Santa Fe HEV AWD is a great vehicle for active small families. It's smooth, steady, and fuel-efficient for long road trips. The 3rd row is great in a pinch for bringing kids' friends along on short trips. A trailer hitch greatly expands capabilities like hauling bikes. The only negatives are an annoying nanny when you're using adaptive cruise control prevents you from wearing sunglasses and there's no way to have non-adaptive cruise control. On hot days, it can take a long time for the second row to cool down.

Very happy with the cars performance.

All in all, we are very happy with the Sante Fe Hybrid. We took it on a cross-country trip and were amazed at the comfort, handling, and features. We averaged 32 miles per gallon for the 7,000-mile trip. The one drawback was that we had a bike rack on the back, and when we backed up, the brakes would go on, thinking we were about to hit the bikes. To fix it, we had to turn off the backup each time we started the car.

Great car except the driver legroom

Great car driver leg room is in adequate for a tall person like myself. They give way too much room to the backseat passengers and not enough to the front seat doesn’t make any sense not even an option to increase the legroom and decrease the back seat legroom

Nice car but had major problem about one year in

Started displaying hybrid warnings. Dealership couldn't find problem. Traded in for another Santa Fe after 4th event, which shut the car down on a highway, putting wife in danger. Loved the car other than that. Also had a few build quality problems: wind noise on passenger side, door mis-aligned.

2025 Santa Fe Hybrid

Have been very happy overall with our Santa Fe after 20k miles. Had one issue with the fuel rail sensor wiring harness at 21k miles that caused the vehicle to limp home, but the dealer was responsive and had it corrected and back to us after one day. Overall comfort is very good and very happy with the hybrid performance and fuel economy.

2025 Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid limited

We purchased a 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid limited. It's an adequate vehicle with many nice features. It is 2026 now and gas prices are ridiculous so having the hybrid is a definite bonus. Will probably not go back to a standard gas vehicle. Overall it is a comfortable ride, and the limited has the nice options that we wanted. It has a few head scratchers however: no spare tire, which is odd because every other brand of hybrid has a spare tire. They do provide a little penny air pump and some tire sealant, but no spare tire is really odd. If you use the third row seat there is not much heat that gets back there. It has rear AC, but no rear heat. Also, you have to annoyingly login every time you drive the vehicle for your radio station preset to work. Even if you just leave it as a guest, you still have to login every time which is highly annoying. There might be a setting to fix that but I haven't found one yet. I do like how the second row has adjustable which is nice if you do have to use the third row. Overall it's a decent vehicle but without a spare tire it is a little nerve-racking to drive.
