Amazing car.

My Santa Fe has become my favorite car, and my other vehicle is a Porsche. It's comfortable to drive, gets great gas mileage, and is super spacious. I love the interior styling and lack of Hyundai branding. It looks like a Land Rover on the inside.

She knows my name, my favorite color, my favorite music.......she knows me better than I know myself sometimes; she welcomes me every morning and tells me goodbye every night. Nice to drive —too much unnecessary technology

Very comfortable car to DRIVE. Tech is overdone. Our 2020 Santa Fe had it about right! Do I really need to be able to swap the tune and volume control. Think not. Had to Chat GPT to learn how to use lots of functions as manuals are not up to date with the latest. Hybrid way overrated. 31.5 MPG in first 3000 mile. In the 2020 Turbo, we got lots of 27 - 29 MPG. With split screen using Sirius XM, map on the screen is dark and not changeable - useless and virtually impossible to see the name of a song or the artist. We live in a rural area where where cell service gets lost, making Apple Play useless, so we don’t. Do I really need to be able to back my car out with the key fob - virtually useless. Can’t stop THINK ABOUT TAKING A BREAK which flashes up I REALLY DISLIKE THAT,! Time for a software update. For over 60 years I have known when to take a break, and I don’t need some software nerd telling me that. Having to push little spots on a screen to heat steering wheel or or seats is dangerous and prone to hit more than one button. We have a car for getting from A to B and don’t need all the extra stuff someone thinks we need. You remind me of the Jeep ad which says “we keep you informed and entertained”. Not the way you’re overdoing it.

Not much wrong.

Maybe because there is nothing really wrong with this car, I am overly focused on the relatively small problems it has. The only thing so far that is even close to a concern is that the A/C does not put out a lot of cold air, although that could be a result of the blower vents not being optimally positioned. Another minor problem is that you really have to put some time in to fully understand how the control and settings systems work. There are a lot of features in this car that I have not gotten around to using yet. Depending on how you drive, you are looking at 27 - 35 mpg--possibly a few mpg more if you really baby it. Acceleration is adequate, especially if you put it in "sport mode", but then your mileage suffers a bit. Handles well and is a very comfortable ride. Huge amounts of room in the back, and the seats fold down very easily. Overall quality is good--this does not feel like a cheap car, and the price is very reasonable for all that you get.

26’ Hybrid SF Calligraphy

Excellent vehicle, however now with 5k miles I notice when accelerating it seems loud on the interior of the car. Like it seems hard to do and sounds like an old car trying to get up a hill 94 just to shift , seems like it doesn’t want to shift .

Mostly satisfied

Love the comfort, fuel economy, features, acceleration. Only complaint: The front wheel drive easily breaks tires to spin out, especially on wet roads, if accelerate too rapidly.

All the technology is over rated

Having gone through winter in Michigan, my driver assist cameras were constantly covered with snow, or ice, or salt and dirt. Warnings constantly went off on the dash board. Our running boards packed the ice, salt and road dirt into the door panels. The positive, the car drove well and had good traction in snow mode.

Too new for a review, but so far we are very pleased with this hybrid.

If this Santa Fe is as good as my first Santa Fe, it will be an incredible vehicle. My first Santa Fe I had for 18 years, it had 241,000 miles on the engine and never leaked or burnt a drop of oil. It was very dependable and I'm expecting this 2026 Santa Fe Hybrid to be just as good and dependable as my first Santa Fe. I haven't had this Santa Fe long enough to give a honest review, but so far I like it very much.

Great family vehicle that punches above it’s weight

The 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy Hybrid really stands out in a crowded SUV market. The design alone gives it a unique presence—modern, upscale, and just different enough to turn heads without being over the top. Where this vehicle really shines is comfort. The ride quality is smooth and composed, and the interior feels genuinely premium. From the seating materials to the thoughtful layout, it’s clear Hyundai put a lot of effort into making this a place you actually enjoy spending time in—whether it’s a quick trip across town or a longer drive. The Calligraphy trim brings a ton of value as well. You get a wide range of high-end amenities that you’d typically expect in more expensive vehicles—advanced tech, driver assistance features, and upscale finishes—all at a price point that feels very competitive for what you’re getting. That said, there is one small downside worth noting. Because of the hybrid system, the 12V battery is located in the rear cargo area, which means the cargo cover can’t be stored underneath like it can in the standard (non-hybrid) models.
