Quiet, good ride, excellent handling

The Tucson is a good looking, comfortable vehicle. Every day I’m more impressed with its overall quality. Had many Honda’s and Toyota’s. The Tucson is right up there with them and maybe even handle and brake better. The controls are easy and reachable and the satellite radio is first class. My only complaint is even with the larger of two engines it’s underpowered and slow to respond. Maybe a bad transmission match up….you have to put some foot into it to get a response. Though highway crusin is great.

95% perfect

I got a great value in this car. My main reason for getting the lowest trim was because of the cd player. And more than likely I will hold on to this suv longer than usual will be because of that lol. I'd say I'm 95% happy with this truck because it doesn't get warm quick enough in the winter AT ALL. But the AC works astonishingly fast in 90° heat. So in the winter I do drive with a blanket on my legs.

Great car

I love my car. Easy to drive. Comfortable. I feel safe. Great look. Nice sound. I like driving it. Love the heated seats on winter. Love AppleCarPlay. Blind spot monitor is very helpful. Plenty of great features. User friendly. I often get compliments on how nice it looks! Happy with my car.

Affordable,reliable, worry free maintenance, the sad issue: Has a very small gas tank, not the best value for gas usage , slow on exceleration response , my 2018 tuc has had (3) front end alignments requiring all 4 tires , $$$$$$$$$$ Gas mileage-$$$$$$$$$ Engine oil usage-$$$$$$$$$$

So far so good....only a week in

Sharp looking, roomy, comfortable, and rides smooth. I enjoy driving it. The back up camera is awesome. I don't know how we lived so long without them. The car has a 4 cylinder 2.0...but it is peppy, and has no problems up steep hills. The rear seats fold down to provide ample room for a large load or a big item, the vehicle itself is not huge, but designed great to maximize space.

Happy with Hyundai

This was my second Hyundai purchase. My first was a 2009 Sonata that currently has over 200K miles and I still consider my daily driver. Other than a few cosmetic items (sunvisor, lumbar lever) this car has never been to the dealership for any repairs since I bought it. Based on that kind of quality, I bought this Tucson and so far it has been a great vehicle to own and drive. It's a solid little SUV and so far I've had no issues with it. AWD is definitely a plus when snowing or icy. Even though I wouldn't consider this an off road vehicle I'm sure it would be just as happy on the dirt roads if I ever decided to take it camping. The biggest plus for me was that Hyundai doesn't use CVT transmissions in their vehicles. Reading reviews on these transmissions scared me away from the other SUV's in this same class. Will definitely buy Hyundai again.

Excellent SUV

This is my 3rd Tucson I love the way it drives the vehicle is reliable the safety features are important to me. I've had very little repair, usually oil change, brakes, tires depending on how long you keep the vehicle.

Enjoy it very much

The most expensive car I have ever owned and I really enjoy the AWD and the gas mileage I am getting with it is great. At 50000 miles it is still running great. Burdick Hyundai is the only place I take it for service since I got it.

Love it but interior trim needs updating

I have dogs and the soft door interior upholstery (top) is too soft in my 2018 Tucson. My wife’s 2020 Kona has a hard upper Dior trim that I wished the Tucson did. Yes, I do have a dog car seat cover and door covers.

Never Again

Transmission went out twice in 6 months!! Dealing with Hyundai was a NIGHTMARE!! I will never buy another Hyundai again. Double check with consumer reports before you buy new or used, two re-call on this car.

love to drive

very easy to drive vehicle. Even in economy mode ,engine has quick pick up. It is a very comfortable ride and fun to drive. the gas economy for a regular 2.0 liter is excellent for an SUV type vehicle.

Too many recalls

My vehicle stopped on the highway 3 times without notice. My vehicle jerks when I drive it. There should be a recall on the transmission. I hope and pray that it don’t stop again. The engine , power train and fuel pump been replaced.

Good Solid Auto

Great Automobile!!! It is too bad the dealerships are not as high quality as the Autos themselves!! This is my 5 or 6th Hyundai and love the brand Minimum of 300,000 miles driven between my 3 Santa Fe s and 2 Tucsons and the biggest expensive was the brakes on one of them at about 80,000 miles; mind you brakes are a normal wear and tear item and for them to last almost 80,000 miles was pretty Awesome!!!

Excellent Vehicle!

This is my 5th Hyundai Vehicle, 4 Sonatas and now a Tucson because I needed more cargo space and a liftgate. I have had all of them serviced by Crenshaw Hyundai in Burlington, NC. Great service department Team led by Greg Causey! I highly recommend the dealership and Salesperson Robert Hughett!

Really like this car

Great in snow, love the sun roof. Heated seats. The only thing i wish was different is that the passengers side seat is higher so that a short person( sometimes me) can see over the hood. Back seat is nice and roomy.

My Tucson has been a reliable SUV. It is comfortable and has all the tech things that are necessary in today's world. My only complaint is that it sounds like a lawnmower and acceleration is poor. Great for hauling stuff.

One size fits all

We use the vehicle as our primary vehicle as we also own a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado LT and a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox premier. The Tucson fits our. Everyday needs for dr appointments and shopping and awd winter driving.

the 2018 I traded for a 2021

this vehicle was an absolute fit for me and I totally enjoy driving this car. I get so many compliments on it. Only 3 other people have driven it and I got nothing but compliments about how it handles and how good it is for short people.
