Hyundai Tucson

I like the vehicle overall but REALLY dislike the headlights. Their placement is low which causes shadows on the road in hilly areas. Also they are aimed low so as not to blind oncoming traffic but that significantly reduces the area illuminated on the road. I live in a hilly area with lots of wildlife, mostly deer and bear. This vehicle is difficult to drive a night because of the lights on local roads.

Traded Kona in for Tucson for just a bit more space. Love my Tucson. Handles great. Gas mileage is comparable to Kona. Plenty of space. Great upgrades. Wireless/ hands free everything.

Love this car!

This is my third Hyundai and it's a fantastic vehicle. I feel comfortable and safe while driving, especially with the birds-eye view camera. The gas mileage is pretty good for an SUV and I love the sleek appearance and distinctive tail lights. Honestly, my biggest complaint is that I didn't get the color I wanted. One more small complaint is that the car starts with the auto engine off feature turned on and I have to manually turn it off every time I start the vehicle. I wish there was a setting to keep that off. I also wish there was a convenient place to put my phone while driving that allows me to see the screen, but keeps it out of the hot sun. But other than that, I really enjoy the car and would recommend it to anyone.

Mediocre.

I’ve never had a new vehicle that came with warped rotors. To consistently have to return to have them never replaced was unbelievable as a second Hyundai car buyer. Anybody in there right mind knows you can’t fix warped rotors by turning them. I only go to the dealership for all my services for the car and the fact that I’m a woman should not matter. They put new rotors on in December 2025 finally and this is March 2026 and they’re bad again and I’ve had the car only since July 2024. Your 2020 Hyundai was much better. Thank you for listening.

Awful

Driver door unlocks 40-50% on first try. Sometimes it relocks when I try and open L rear door. Once a month I have to use fob to open the door. Worked ok at dealer they said it works fine. No need to do anything. Approaching car from R side and walking past rear (no hesitation) to driver door the hatch door opens about 10-15%% of the time. Stand directly behind 3x in a year it would not open had to do manually. Every 2-3 months I have to reconnect my phone to car.

A really great and practical SUV

The 2024 Hyundai Tucson is a really great and a really practical SUV with many, many great and excellent safety features that give you alerts to all kinds of things while you're driving down the road. It has more cargo space in the rear than a 2016 Audi Q5, and it has more cabin room than a 2016 Audi Q5 does, and that is saying a lot. I highly recommend the Hyundai Tucson to anyone looking for a great and very practical SUV that has many, many great and wonderful safety features that keep you safe on the road.

Vehicle has minimal electronics and useless gadgets ...................... exactly what I looked for and got. Couldn't be happier. Scores should be all 10's but changed up a few with lower ratings for fear the survey would be scrapped.
