It's the little things you like...or don't.

Obviously you would not purchase any vehicle if you didn't like the major aspect of the car. It's the little thing that grab your attention after you have driven it; such as as a rear wiper that pivots from the top rather than the bottom so car washes don't damage it; or the interior fan that continues to run and run with concern of a drained battery. It might even be the frustrating infotainment system that make you hit "Mode" for the radio every time you restart the car or less-than-friendly navigation system. Being a senior citizen who is not as tech savvy as the youngsters definitely puts me at a disadvantage.

Good value

2nd Tucson Limited. My wish list: 1) hood hold-up pneumatic not manual, 2) exterior mirror settings tied to seat memory settings, 3) ext mirrors auto fold-in when in Park and engine off, 4) rear armrest when down "hovers" above seat and is subject to being pushed down too hard by someone getting in to rear seat, 5) seat & steering wheel heat touches are too sensitive; too easy to inadvertently bump, 6) have cargo door lock also be able to lock all 4 doors, 7) cargo carpet mat slides rearward, 8) wish the cruise control retarding/vehicle separation feature could be overridden (we keep it on the 1 blue line but it is still annoying to be throttled and not realize it til after a while).

Hesitation at under 25mph is terrible.

I've taken the car in twice. The tech says they cannot recreate the hesitation. Therefore, they say there's nothing wrong with the car. I say, I paid $30000. I don't expect it to hesitate every time I'm under 25 miles an hour. I would avoid this car until they fix these issues.

Uncomfortable sests

The seats are extremely uncomfortable. They are very hard. I have a 30+ minute drive to work and it’s the worst. I’ve purchased three different types of seat cushions and they raise you up too high. Also there is just too much car, to the point that I have not been able to learn my perimeters. Also, having a touch screen is not safe while driving. A knob is a lot easier to locate by muscle memory than trying to figure out where exactly on the dash you have to push. Also with so many options on the steering wheel it can be quite easy to put your vehicle in a mode you did not intend.

Horrible Extreme Safety Features

I am not happy with this car. The safety features are horrible, they almost caused a wreck from the slamming on the brakes when not needed. The driver shpuld have the control, thanks for taking that away! Also the horrible eye camera makes it so I cant wear my fave sunglasses if I want to use cruise control. Yes I can turn some of these feaitures off (not eye scan) but you have to everytime you get in the car to drive. This is the first car I have hated.

Really glad I purchased this vehicle. Would like the indicator lights mentioned below to be brighter or at least adjustable. I’m older as are my friends. Most of them would find these lights hard to see.
