Most things are great, w some usability/inconvenience issues
The car is a joy to drive. It's comfortable, arranged well for instrumentation, handles well in each mode, and overall feels like just shy of luxury driving experience. However, a few things that are minor, but just lead to asking "why?" was it designed it this way?
- The hatch, if not automatic, requires a very strong slamming force to tell the sensor it's actually closed. Not normal at all.
- The car has to be turned completely off to open the hatch, why?? It's common to keep A/C, or heat running while loading the car - can't to that with this car.
- You can't open the door, and use the lock-button on the drivers door to lock the car before closing the door. The button is disabled when the door is open.
- WHY IN THE WORLD, is Hyundai different than everyone else - on the steering wheel audio controls? Up should be next track, and down should be last track. It's opposite on the Tucson, but normal on the Kia counterparts. Very odd.
