Meh

It's not fun to drive. The engine is loud. I've almost been rear-ended numerous times because the setting on the front crash detector is too sensitive and it literally slams on your brakes. This occurs often when someone is making a right hand turn, so they're still moving forward as you're getting closer. The system completely takes over your car. It's frightening. I wish I could turn the whole thing off, but you can only do that if you turn it off every time you start the car. The less sensitive setting is better, but if people don't do their own research about how to fix this problem, it's an accident waiting to happen. I also hate the fact that the engine stops when the car is stopped. This is my first car with this feature and the car is slow to turn back on again. It feels like it's slower than the time it takes my foot to go from the brake to the gas, which is another unsettling feature of this car. Again, it's fixable by pressing a button, but you must do so every time you start the car. I understand the car companies get an incentive to have this feature, but on this vehicle, it sucks.

Hyundai 2025

Acceleration was so slow that I nearly got hit while trying to exit. Then, when I attempted to change lanes, even with my indicator on and the car behind me still far back, my car hesitated mid‑maneuver. Instead of completing the lane change, it suddenly braked, forcing the driver behind me to brake hard as well.

My Hyundai Tuscon is a very dependable vehicle.It handles great in all types of weather conditions.It has great safety features and has a smooth ride feel.Only feature missing is heated steering wheel.

Too small a vehicle

Too small, no backseat air vents, low to no safety rating, lack of safety features. Way too expensive for the type, style, size of vehicle. Vehicle wasn't shown to me pre purchase. Vehicle wasn't given to me to test drive. A newer model was, and I was led to believe I was getting the same or similar vehicle, with the same features. I no longer have the vehicle. Traded it in for a different vehicle completely.

Slick, well designed and stunning to look at.

As this is the fourth Tucson I've leased in a row, I am pleased with every aspect of the Tucson. Some of the new notification safety features take a little getting used to, but all in all I am very pleased with the beautiful Green Tucson.

It’s a Hyundai

Solid vehicle. It’s not top of the line by any means but Hyundai is really good with their tech so if you want the most bang for your buck when it comes to tech and safety features, you’ll get that with Hyundai. It’s a reliable vehicle and looks nice.

Safety and noise

Car is very noisy when stepping on the gas. I find it very unsafe when making changes on the touch screen. I have to take my eyes off the road when trying to find the Icons for blower speed; changing the heated seat temperature; etc. I prefer to have numbers for MPH and Tach gauges. The wiper lever is to close the the steering wheel. I have accidently turned on the wipers when turning the wheel. I also found it very difficult to find information in the users manual.

Great Safety Features, but other designs are lacking

There are many features on the Tucson that are wonderful. Safety features are fantastic, and it offers a comfortable ride. The quality that the crystal-clear display screen provides makes GPS, backup camera and other features so easy to see. There are some features that could use some room for improvement. There is extremely limited space in the back. Enough for grocery bags, a first aid kit and a blanket. Previous non-Hyundai SUVs had a cover over the tire, a place to store, winter gear, like snow removers, and other items, and then it had the cover. The sideview mirrors have no rain guard (or mirror rain shield) without which, causes water marks, which in turn causes glare and fogging and low visibility. I have to wipe them clean every time I get in the car. The design of the windshield wipers is not favorable to me. The only way to pull them up in order to clean them or place a protective sleeve over them to protect from the elements or when washing the car, is to turn the car on and off, finagle the wiper handle to position them up onto the windshield.
