McCarthy Tucson

It’s a nice car but the fact that most everything is programmable is a problem. The dealer service people are mechanics and not computer programmers. They don’t understand most of what it can or can’t do. The driver profiles are a nuisance. It takes far too long for it to enable itself. After using fingerprint/password it thinks then you have to press a start button. Why bother with the start button?

Great car buttt!!

I've had a problem with the rear cross traffic warning working only about 50% of the time. Had in to dealer twice now and it's not been repaired. Went out with the mechanic and we tested it repeatedly. It worked every time during our test. I could only shake my head. Just unreal. Well the next day as I operated it it was back to working about 50% of the time. I've had two Santa fe's for about eight years before the Tuscon and the R cross traffic work beautifully all the time. To me this is the most important safety feature and it's what I make sure is on the model that I buy. The above rating would be five stars if the r cross traffic worked properly.

My Tucson is a great value!

I have owned nothing but Hyundais for 33 years and I have never been disappointed by the value or service I've gotten from them. When I have had any issues with my Hyundais, they have the best warranty available and have always taken good care of me, even when it wasn't required. My Tucson is comfortable, efficient, and safe and I am very happy with my purchase.

Subpar vehicle

We have owned Hyundai vehicles for many years and have always found them to be a very reliable vehicle. UNTIL NOW. Our current Tuscon feels loose and is not put together very well. The back of the passenger seat fell off the first week we owned it. It shakes and jerks. We were told it was "learning" our driving behavior. But after 10,000 plus miles it has apparently not learned our driving habits yet.
