Our Second Hyundai

We have owned a 2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring for over 13 years. We decided to buy a newer car and bought a 2026 Hyundai Tucson. We were so happy with the performance of the Touring that we decided to keep it in the family for dirty jobs like carrying the dog to the vet and groomer.

Good car but needs improvements.

The entertainment system leaves alot to be desired. The biggest thing is when you turn the car off the entertainment system does not return to where it was when you shut the car off.

Really like this car overall. They only complain at this time as I can’t find a way to lock the doors from the outside without the key. Maybe I’ll discover it in the manual sooner or later.

The fuel injectors do not have a cover making the motor sound loud and rattling. Very poor design!!!!

Not so safe

My computer system is all messed up and the safety system is going off at anytime scaring the crap out of me & almost causing accidents. Everything is different every time o start up even though I login as me.

2026 Tuscon XRT

I am generally satisfied with the vehicle. Major concern is that the AC/heater fan does not completely turn off. Vents must be completely closed to stop warm or cool air from blowing in. The steering isn't great. Notifications such as the coffee symbol telling me to take a break seem to be sporadic. I have to press AM or FM radio multiple times to get it to respond. The vehicle is loud on highways. Wind noise is concerning on the driver side (I repeatedly check to make sure my windows is not slightly open.
