Silver Trim

I can not believe how fast, within the first week of ownership, the silver trim had rust spots all over the entire car. Called dealership and they claimed there was nothing they could do, and not to replace it because it will never fit the same. Very disappointing. The car is brand new and I'm stuck with it for 3 years.

Too much tech

My 2026 Tucson has added tech features that distract rather than enhance my driving experience. Radio reception is poor. As a person who enjoys driving stick, I find there are too many forward gears, causing you to shift constantly rather than to engage or decrease engine power. 2021 Tucson was a fun drive. This one, not so much. Hyundai still hasn't solved the liftgate issue of water entering through poor seals or poor design when exposed to rain or carwash. Carwash makes it a soapy, drippy mess.

Economic and fits the bill.

Straight gas power , very roomy inside and great climate control. Electronics are hard to get use and in diagnostic section no real information is available, just check marks. Four wheel drive is awesome. Just right seat height for handicap people in wheel chair to slide in. Which was reason for choosing this. More sporty looking than new Santa fe.

everthing is fineno complaint however i do not like the buttons or lights that illumate the air, heat seats, and whatever thetre is on that lower panel cannot see if thier are on or off . Today i was driving and so how i turned on the heated seats & the temp outside was 85 deg. my rearend was scorched. make the lights brighter. thanks

Disappointed New Buyer

I bought this vehicle in March with the thought that a brand new vehicle would be free of problems so I wouldn't have to go through the hassle of scheduling and waiting for repairs. With less than 3,000 miles on the vehicle the air-conditioning system developed a problem that requires an actuator to be replaced. The Service Dept. ordered the part and told me it would be in at the end of last week and that it would be sometime this week before they could install it. They called today to let me know the part was in but now it won't be until next week before they can install it. This is poor customer service in my view as I would have thought they would have put priority on it since I have already been inconvenienced by the problem and now they are apparently fine with continuing the inconvenience. This is Eastern North Carolina where day time temps are routinely in the 80's and 90's so having no air conditioning is a real problem, especially at our ages. I am very disappointed in Hyundai.
