Start stop is a non-starter

I live in Naples Florida where the temperature is often over 100 degrees with the humidity. The traffic can be heavy so signals can be long. If you don't press the button every time you get in the vehicle to turn off the start-stop you end up sitting at a light with hot air blowing at you. Apparently, Genesis doesn't have any plans in the near future to provide a hybrid option that would allow the Air to stay on. I will be changing to a different franchise when my lease ends.

I love my Genesis GV80

I love this car. I love the way it feels on the road. All of the features are great and easy to use. This car is so comfortable for long car rides. I love the driver seat function that gives you a massage once you have been driving for a while. There is plenty of space inside the cargo area plus the backseat has plenty of legroom.

The GV80 needs refinements to run with the big dogs to compete.

The touch screen for heated and cooling seats is often inadvertently activated due to their sensitivity and proximity of other often used switches. Overall, the electronics and touch screens are not as user friendly as they are numerous. The seat memory is unpredictable as to which setting is going to be used at start. The confirmation of the user is too slow to identify the user/driver. After almost two years we are still not accustomed to it. The Concierge service that was hyped with the purchase of the GV80 has turned out to be a completement disappointment. The sales experience and service have been less than fulfilling.

2024 Genesis Prestige

Hope to see a separate Genesis dealership and service in the very near future as was promised two years ago when I purchased this beautiful vehicle. I strongly recommend that you have a dedicated technical specialist at each dealership to assist customers with their many questions about all the wonderful technology in these vehicles as I feel to date that has not been the case and it’s very frustrating.

My Graceful Green Genesis

Two years in and everything still works like new! Long trips (1100 miles) and short trips (1 mile) are safe, comforting experiences. Still getting admiring comments from people about how neat the car looks, and specifically the color green.

Well, the overall SUV is great looking MPG is only 19 to 20. Seats are a little rough on Long ride. The camera that looks like you was a pain, always telling you to look straight with hands on the wheel, even though you may be holding good at the bottom of the wheel
