My Ioniq 5

All good except for no wireless CarPlay and truck rattle when driving at a low speed. Also just had an issue with the 12v battery going flat.

Great for around town and short trips. Very comfortable

Range is limited to under 275 miles. Only a few charging stations in our area. Very comfortable and quick Built extremely well with no issues in 30,000 miles.

The car has been fine, its the rental of the car that I am totally <3.

Its fine, but could be better. It could use less electricity, and the ability to add room for additional driving miles.

Love the safety features, and appreciate the warranty.

Love my EV and apprecieate having the warranty as it came in handy. I had a "no go" maitnance issue with the battery. I used the app to have it towed to the dealership and my warranty covered it all. I was back on the road within a couple of days. I was very pleased with the services provided. Overall I love this car but get frusturated with the turning radius and lack of windshield wipers in the back. I also feel the sensors could use some fine tuning. For example it will alarm for proximaty when you have something in front of you in the garage, but you are in reverse and backing out. I wish it was smarter and knew by being in reverse I'm not going to hit the object in front of me.

I love it and hate it more

Love the styling. Love the looks, hate the range, and Hyundai Lies. rated 260, never got above 150, been to the dealer more times than any other car i have ever owned, and NEVER fixed. warranty items cost me out of pocket? battery lost 14% in one year. Dealer "unable to replicate" ICCU issues, recalls and too many hassles. yes it looks great, but save your money and go buy a Tesla, I was going to and i now wish i would have. ( i will when this pos is paid off)

Overall great car

I got the 2024 Disney 100 Edition and as a Disney adult I love the subtle and sophisticated theming. The car itself is great; I had a 2022 Ioniq 5 before this one so I was already familiar with the car. There are a couple of issues that I have with the car and the service departments that I spelled out below. I did have a cooled seat go out on me at 59k miles and it was repaired under the warranty, but that did not detract from the vehicle or the ratings.

Nice car

We have driven it 28k in 25 months with two trips, 2k miles and a 5.2k trip. It was comfortable for four and baggage. Charging went well at Electrify America sites. No repairs needed and all routine maintenance has been free 36 month free). We have a 3-year lease.

I love my Ioniq 5. Battery Blues

I love this car that said I spent six months and one day waiting on a replacement battery. When I got it back the dealership didn't fill the battery with enough coolant But fortunately, I watched the net videos to know that this could happen and about coolant of my own from the dealership, 2 gallons worth to fix it. The dealership did offer to assist but since they had already had it 6 months and didn't know enough to fill it properly, I just bought the coolant. at fifty percent discount.and did it myself.

Great engineering

Particularly like the range (~360 in summer), the pickup, the dashboard infotainment screen (not the boxy style that some EVs have that stick up above the dash), and the free charging plan with Electrify America. I leased this vehicle.

Overall fantastic and fun to drive. There are quite a few nitpicks which would preclude me from purchasing this year model. Am very much looking foward to getting a new year model; but only if there are improvements

Ways to get me to buy my leased i5 at lease expiration

Overall like the vehicle. Here's what I would improve...trunk still rattles even after being serviced, add manual battery preconditioning button, show battery temp somewhere, show how many kW car is asking for when charging. ADAS could be improved. Update the navigation more often with new chargers. Implemented plug and charge with main charging network providers.

great car

had to have iccu replaced at ~15000 miles, but no other problems since. ride is quiet and comfortable. range could be better in the winter months would make it excellent 5 stars. i have had it get up to 350 miles range in moderate temps. winter its around 230ish.

Best car I've owned by far!

The affordability and convenience of charging at home are great, and I love reducing my environmental footprint when driving. Even apart from those things, this is just the most comfortable and fun to drive car I've owned in 30 years of driving. I highly recommend it!
