2024 Tucson Hybrid Excels

My former vehicle was totaled in an accident. I had driven the car for 14 years and loved the reliability and comfort of the car. But it could be a noisy ride on the highway. I test drove a variety of vehicles and was very impressed with the features and ride of the Hyundai. I had several friends who had driven Hyundais for years and it was the only car they always returned too. The ride was quiet, car managed well and the warranty and pricing won us over.

Good car with undesirable alarms and safety features

The Tuscon Hybrid drives well and we have no mechanical problems in the car's first 8,000 miles. The alarm and safety features are excessive and can be startling and aggravating

Best Tucson we’ve had yet

Our Tucson Hybrid limited is quiet, fuel efficient and comfortable. The turbo 4 cylinder has a nice amount of power. Seats are comfortable on short and long distances. Not one warranty issue yet.

Great vehicle, awesome dealership and service!

The day we purchased our new Hyundai Tuscon HEV was one of the more pleasant sales experiences in my life. The dealership staff showed us several cars, but none were meeting my wife's checklist - this was for her birthday. Before we left however, they told us they thought they had a car that would meet every item on her checklist, if she could drop the requirement of a sedan. They brought out the Tuscon HEV and we took a test drive, and I think it was love at first side. So quiet, so comfortable, with plenty of power, and all the gadgets and safety features we were hoping for. A couple of months out from purchase, and we are still super happy with it.

My mpg is getting even better now after a year and a half of driving.

I'm learning how to drive it using cruise and accelerating and slowing to use the EV feature as much as possible. The published mpg is 37.5, but I wasn't getting that to begin with. Now, I'm getting upwards of 50+ at times, so the average is probably going to exceed 37.5 in a few months.

Excellent Vehicle

Excellent vehicle and great leasing program. However, I did not have a good experience with trying to get a spare tire for it since it does not come standard. It was going to cost around $1000 for the spare tire, rack, and custom installation. This was not told to me up front that this would be separate, and I decided not to go ahead with it once I found out how much it would be. I do not believe I should have to pay for the tire, rack, or installation since the vehicle is leased, and spare tires need to come standard on all vehicles.

I like my new Tuscon Hybrid very much. However, I am only getting about 33+ MPG. When I bought the car in March, I understood I would get around 36 or more MPG. I am working with the service department at the dealer where I bought the car about this.
