Fancy electronics that constantly give error messages

Skip this vehicle. It's nice when it's working but my brand new car only a few months old has squeaky brakes. The Blue Link app notifies me of error messages every day, and on my dashboard I get error messages every day. It's a pain in the butt to schedule service for my Hyundai, and I have to pay for maintenance on my car, whereas one year ago, buying a brand new Hyundai gave me three years of complimentary maintenance. The recommended maintenance cycle is a oil change every 5,000 miles because everybody that drives their car normally likely falls within the severe service schedule that Hyundai hides inside their manual.

Excellent Car with a few quirks, coming from an older Hybrid Tucson

I am loving the 2026 Hybrid Tucson. The only issue is that I owned a 2022 Hybrid Tucson and Hyundai decided to flip all the controls on the steering wheel so all the controls that were on the left are now on the right and vice versa. My muscle memory is all out of whack. Other than that, it is an incredible vehicle.

Great Car at a Great Price

I recently leased the 2026 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid, SEL Conv package. It's a great car, feels safe, smooth ride and very good fuel economy. This is my 4th Hyundai and it's probably the best one of all. It's very easy to drive, good views outside the windows, and it has all of the safety features such as blind spot warning with changing lanes and reverse camera. The interior is very comfortable front and back, the instrument package is nicely done with the larger infotainment screen. It does not have it's own built in GPS mapping, but I use Google Maps anyway directly from my phone, which is a wireless connection. The only issue I have is with the HVAC controls and the LED lights that indicate they are on or off. The blue and amber LEDs are very dim, even at night. I can barely see them in the daytime.

MPG is not what I expected for this HYBRID.

The miles per gallon rating on MY Tucson is not what I expected. I have less than1000 miles on my Tucson Hybrid and averaging 31.5 mpg. Also the cruise control has been a very unfriendly user device. I have owned many different cars and trucks and I never had a problem setting cruise control before. I also think that having mpg reading sometimes showing 999.0 mpg is unrealistic.
