Okay but not the best

Good vehicle but it doesn’t have the power I first thought it had also the hands free lock system on the doors sometimes work but not always and then the sunroof exploded and scared us half to death

Great Hybrid

We are very happy with our Hybrid Tucson. It has great safety features including a 360 degree camera and warnings for approaching cars. We really like the pop-up display. The Tucson is a smooth ride, handles well, and gets good gas mileage.

J. Newton 2026 Hyundai Tucson review

I really like the car, the menus and the way it drives. I think the turn signal is too loud. I would like it if all the options that I use to drive would be saved when I shut the car off so I don't have to select things every time I drive. The auto braking on the cruise control could be a little more sensitive, it tends to get close to the vehicle in front and then brake hard. It would be nice if the braking was earlier and smoother.

Gets me where I want to go.

Needs more comfort. Drives a bit hard. Not good in rain. No button to open back. Rear seats need auto movement. Air vents not positioned correctly. Would like cup cool/heat. Don't always carry my phone and have to pull key fob out to unlock and lock.

Hyundai Tucson

It's a nice car but it has problems. The backend sways back and forth on certain types of roads that can be dangerous in the rain. From what I understand it's a common thing and it's probably the way the alignment is. And the dealer can't do anything about it.

Great but could use a couple tweaks

Overall a great bang for the buck, especially when there are rebates. There are a couple tech features that could use an update, when you select “favorites” on the radio display it should stay that way but it resets and you need to select it again every time you start the vehicle, this is a major complaint on social media reviews but there still hasn’t been a fix with the over the air updates. You need to dig into the features under settings to turn off the front sensor before entering an automatic conveyor style car wash, a physical button like Subaru has or a shortcut “car wash” button on the settings main page like others have would be appreciated. The exterior paint on the rear spoiler over the back glass didn’t get properly painted on the drivers side, it’s not as deep and looks faded in certain light. The arm rest on the drivers side is low and my leg/knee scrape against it. I’m only getting 33mpg with the hybrid and I’m really trying, using regen levels, proper tire pressures and maxing the around town driving when I can.
