The car is fine, its the support stuff that bites see below
Car is fine after 44,000 miles. But the complimentary service period was full of scheduled appointments that we sat for an hour or two past the appointment time almopst every time. Then during the last dealer-performed oil change I went to do the next oil change myself as I have done all my life, I discovered the dealership left some screws out of the oil filler skid plate, and they screwed the oil filter housing (made of Plastic) on so tight I was afraid I would shear off the filter housing nut before I got the housing loose. It has a torque specification, and I do not think they are following it. I actually wonder if they used a big air-impact wrench driver to install it. After much ado and another trip to the dealership they fixed all that, and I appreciate that effort. Then came the MyHyundai Blue Link which went out of commission and after numerous calls and trips it does NOT work at all. They actually said "Well Blue Link is a third-party contractor and we have no control over how they respond to your problem" I got news for you, a third-party contractor can be swiftly and easily influenced by Hyundai and make it right. The very fact they said that shows me they only use BlueLink for the upsell and couldn't really care less if the customer doesn't get the features they were offered when they bought the car.
