2023 Tuscon Limited

The display has had issues since we bought it. It has already been replaced once and is now back in for repair...not sure yet if it will be replaced again. We also had to have work done on the sunroof shortly after we bought it. The dealership makes us prove there is something wrong with the display by sending pictures and videos.

Well made, nice ride. Looks good.

I’ve enjoyed having my Tuscan and overall it’s been a great car. The only two issues I have are with the drivers side seat bottom and the windshield. The windshield is easily pitted and cut by the slightest small rock or debris on the road. More than any other car I’ve had. Needs to be made of a bit more durable material or coating. The drivers seat material wears thin and starts to crack and split. Had to get seat covers to prevent further damage. It appears that the material is just not durable for the constant getting in and out of the car by the driver. Improvement needs to be made on this fabric as I’ve seen it mentioned in several forums. Other than that’s it’s been a good, comfortable car.

Great vehicle numerous features for the money. Unfortunately Hyundai does not offer full features in the united states to protect the baby Genesis brand. That said except for known paint issues, engine issues, poor customer service and gauging sales tactics, this can be the excellent suv

Very Solid Car

This is a very solid mid-sized car. It has very good safety features, such as adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring. The headlights are excellent, the best I have ever had. The auto high-beam feature is very accurate and helpful. It has very good climate control and an average sound system. The navigation is a bit clumsy but accurate. The suspension is "short" so a lot of road irregularities are transmitted sharply, especially any dips in the road. The transmission sometimes "flattens out", such as when you are accelerating from a standing start and need to merge with traffic. It will just not engage and has left me stranded for a few seconds in some pretty critical situations. From industry professionals I am told this is a feature of the type of transmission used. I had the same style transmission in my Subaru's and they did the same thing, so I believe the professionals. As I said, this only happens for a few seconds, occasionally [as in not very often], and is a characteristic of the transmission used accross brands. I have also noticed that the transmission is not as "crisp" in hot weather [I live in the desert southwest]. Cooler weather = better performance. All in all a very good all around vehicle.

So far so good

I like my tucson but all the nannies need to go and need a version with the Santa Cruz turbo 2.5 in it. Not crazy about the head unit also controlling ac so if radio brakes there goes ac. Not a fan of buttons for drive selection either, miss my gear shifter to rest my hand on.

Horn has gone out twice, trim on top of car just disappeared. Has a lot of space. Not great gas mileage.

Love it for the most part. Air conditioning seats would be nice. Sometimes there is a lag when I step on the gas, which can be an issue if I’m trying to accelerate quickly.
