Concerning Safety Feature that Cannot Be Truly Disabled

Ride and reliability so far the 2024 Hyundai Tucson limited receives my praise. Where it falls short and leads to potential danger, is the automatic braking for collision avoidance. I have had it activate three times, almost resulting in an accident from the unexpected braking, despite turning it off in the vehicle settings menu at the start of my drive. My local Hyundai dealership said they would attempt to turn it off, only to find out it is not allowed and that despite showing it’s turned off the future reactivates after a certain time period during vehicle operation. I now utilize continuously recording dash cams, because if this safety feature causes an accident I will pursue legal action Hyundai for making an unreliable feature mandatory. It’s very deceiving, being told you have control over the features only to find out the options you select reset after a time period without the car being turned off.

Seats

I wish the seats would go back further so my legs could be stretched out further and the car and the seats were just a little bit wider like two more inches it would be so much more comfortable

Touchscreen "buttons" bad. Knobs, dials, push-buttons good.

Good car. Hate touchscreen buttons. Return to dials, knobs, and buttons. I know the 2025 Kona did.

Safe

This vehicle has many safety features that I love. The interior is small and the craftsmanship is average. It does not feel like a solid vehicle. I like the entertainment system and the navigation system. But but lots of things look and feel cheap.

Great car, I love it.

Excellent car for money. Easy to drive and the features are terrific. Certain features are not necessary and could be replaced with something else, or not at all. The chairs are not the most comfortable chairs, and are made with hard cardboard, which probably will breakdown in the future. But overall, the car is terrific!

2024 tucson

My Tucson is great. It has great gas mileage especially on long trips. I enjoy the many features on the car even though I am still learning some of them. The seats are comfortable and having the heated and cooling seats makes them even more comfortable.
