No back wiper blade, we were told we would have the charger adapter

Little low to the ground, can't visibly see out of back window when raining. Does not handle it snowy weather. Wouldn't purchase. Glad we leased

2024 Ioniq 5 SEL five -thousands miles month review

So far so good, which I had the 2025 model with the rear windshield wiper though. I use the Ioniq 5 as a work and in-town commuter, it is very comfortable and cost me about $3 to charge on my home charger, charge that last four days to a week. Another feature I'd would like is an auto-dim driver side mirror, can get easily blinded from LED lights during night driving.

Great but not perfect.

My car rides very well. I like the style and the features it has. On the downside, I’ve owned it for a year and have had 4 recalls on it. However, all of the recalls were dealt with promptly but still pretty inconvenient. Another issue I once had was the forward collision alert going off when nothing was there and I had to pull over to turn the car off and back on to get it to stop. It hasn't done it again.

Disappointed with this car.

Why can’t I set one pedal driving as the default instead of having to set it for each journey. Why not have front cameras. And why have door handles that stick out so everyone knows when your car is unlocked. I don’t like the fact that you cannot open the trunk unless you know where the small button is on the trunk. None of my family or friends can ever locate it! Also, the driver side door is hard to close unless you put your hand into the back pocket in the door and pull it hard towards you.

Great electric car

Love the battery range and the charging speed. Drives great, quiet and smooth, but wish the single-pedal driving was smoother and the can come to a full stop without depressing the brakes. Wireless Apple CarPlay is lacking which is unfortunate and I wish there are over-the-air updates that are more like Tesla's.

Finish and media issues

Overall love the drive of the vehicle and its features. However, the haptic buttons on the console are a pain and not intuitive. Also, the area above the back lights collections dust and water when it rains so it's annoying to clean. The display in front of the steering wheel is cut off by the steering wheel which is so annoying. Love the feel of the steering wheel and the blinker stick and that's why I bought the vehicle.
