Good family SUV

The tucson is very comfortable to travel in. The back seats recline which is great for the kids. The only negative thing is that it is a pretty bouncy truck when not driving on a smooth road. That would be my only complain. But overall a it's a good SUV.

Too many issues for a new car

At less than 20K miles we’ve already had A/C issues and the front seats are tearing up. The dealership has been a nightmare to deal with, both with basic service and with warranty service. The upholstery issue is especially difficult to get covered but is clearing a defect (and a well documented Hyundai issue).

Hate the engine autostop!

Overall the vehicle serves the purpose of transportation. However, the automatic engine stop is a pain. Yes it can be manually turned off - each and every time you enter the vehicle to go somewhere. Also the navigation system is subpar to other manufacturers and phone navigation apps.

Good features for the cost. Lots of road noise.

I own two 2023 Tucsons. The only difference is one is AWD and the other is FWD. I enjoy the comfort and size, the ability to connect to Apple CarPlay and the overall look of the vehicle. The AWD has excessive road noise and does not get good MPG. Both windshields seem to crack easily. Both had trim pieces on the back windows come loose while driving. Even with an Appointment for an oil change, it takes over an hour. Would like to see the gear shift be smaller or a knob as it gets in the way of accessing the phone charging station in the console. Need to add keyless entry pad on driver's door.

Demo Car Troublemaker

I have a 2023 Tuson model. I have had to have several parts replaced. I brought the car off of the lot after being used as a demo, as the 1st time owner and it has a mildew smell in the ventilation system that is very apparent when turning on the air conditioning. I took it in and all they did was deodorize the ventilation system and the smell came right back. The acceleration is very slow. My backup light on the top of the back window stopped working and the entire back window had to be replaced, A couple of other things stopped working that had to be replaced due to malfunctioning. My husband owns a Santa Fe and had leased other Hyundai models previously and swore by the Hyundai brand. He never had a problem with his cars, but me on the other hand was sold a lemon to make lemonade,

Everything I needed

When searching for an SUV Hyundai was not on my list. I frequently drove past the dealership, but never considered stopping. But one day I gave it a shot and was blown away with the customer service and even more by ratings the Tucson had I test drove for about 20 minutes and instantly fell in love! It’s been theee years now and I’m still just as happy!
